Adrian Ellis has enjoyed a career managing properties in the UK and overseas spanning the past 30 years. Having recently retired in summer 2024, Adrian previously managed the five-AA-star, 165-bedroom Lowry Hotel in Manchester for the past 10 years. Prior to this he was managing 5 star Hotels abroad and in the UK and these included properties in Singapore, Warsaw, Budapest, Baku and Bali. He has worked for companies such Le Meridien, Corinthia, Fairmont and more recently for CDL Organisation based in Singapore who own The Lowry Hotel.
Now retired, Adrian is now a Hospitality Consultant and is also a Director for Hospitality Connect which is a business aimed at educating and inspiring School students to join the Hospitality industry through a programme of Hospitality experiences provided through industry and School partnerships. In addition to this Adrian is a Master Innholders and continues as a Board member for both Hospitality Action and Springboard. He was the proud recipient of Hotelier of the Year 2022/2023 and also the AA Life Achievement Award in 2024/2025.
