Joe Gallagher is the Manchester born boxing trainer who continues to make history throughout his career. Joe was the first ever British born boxing trainer to win the Global Trainer of the Year Award – and – the first ever trainer to win the prestigious British Boxing Board of Control Trainer of the Year Award for the second time.
This year alone he has added two more world titles to his outstanding record – Olympian, Natasha Jonas and Paul Butler, who become a two-time world champion. He was also the training mastermind behind two Mancunian world champions, Anthony Crolla & Scott Quigg – and also took world honours with Liverpool’s Callum Smith and bother Liam.
His passion for his city and sport is unrivalled and in 2018, Joe Gallagher, achieved a life-long ambition to launch the now award-winning, Joe Gallagher Academy, which is truly making a difference to the lives of young people, in his much-loved city of Manchester, by helping to enhance their future opportunities through sport and education.
