Raised in Belfast, Tom moved to Manchester for university in 2003 and has now lived and worked in the city for over half his life. After a brief stint at Marketing Manchester Tom joined Manchester City Football Club in sales in 2008. This led to a career at the Club that spanned 15 seasons, multiple stadium developments, including delivery of the renowned Tunnel Club experience, and leading a high performing, award-winning hospitality department for 5 seasons.
In February 2023 Tom joined Stockport County as Chief Operating Officer, playing a leading role in driving commercials, stadium development and fan experience as they rose through the EFL. In May 2025 Tom moved to Burton Albion in the same role to help them through a process of rebranding and new ownership.
