The This is Manchester Awards® have 16 prestigious award categories and take place on 9th November 2023.

Click on each category title to see the criteria. All This Is Manchester Awards nominations are FREE to enter.

Please ensure your entry is based on the previous 12 months unless otherwise stated. Once you have completed your nominations, you can save and amend your entry until our official entry deadline midnight Friday 1st September

Once your entry is complete and submitted you will see an AUTO Generated GOOD LUCK pop up on your screen.

Entries must be submitted by companies themselves. If you are submitting an entry or nominating a third party, please make them aware. Individuals and Organisation can enter multiple categories.

Should you enter a category and our TIMA Team deem its more suitable for another category, we reserve the right to move the nomination. We will make entrants aware when doing this.

All recipients and shortlisted are carefully selected by our expert industry judging panel. All shortlisted will be contacted directly and announced after the official deadline has closed.

Please ensure all information submitted is accurate and checked, if your entry is shortlisted, this will be announced across This Is Manchester Awards event marketing, and across regional and some national media outlets.

Leading Restaurant Award (Formal)

Nominate

Restaurant of The Year Award (Formal) is open to any restaurant or food outlet (group or independent operator) of any market size within Greater Manchester and Cheshire area.

Leading Restaurant Award (Casual)

Nominate

Leading Restaurant Award (Casual) is open to any restaurant or food outlet (group or independent operator) of any market size within Greater Manchester and Cheshire.

Leading Chef Of The Year Award

Nominate

Leading Chef Of The Year Award is open to any chef within a (group or independent) restaurant, bar, or hotel, and also private chefs who make an outstanding contribution across the region and industry.

Leading Bar / Club Of The Year Award

Nominate

Leading Bar / Club Of The Year Award is open to bars & pubs individuals and / or organisations who run own, manage a bar either with or without a food element.

Leading Hotel Of The Year Award

Nominate

Leading Hotel Of The Year Award is open to any hotel (group or independent) of any market size within Greater Manchester and Cheshire area.

Leading Newcomer

Nominate

Leading Newcomer is open to any individual or organisations across the night time economy or leisure industry who has made a name for themselves and their venue(s).

Leading Live Event Award

Nominate

The category aims to recognise any event staged over the previous 12 months and is open to sports, entertainment, music, live events, cultural events, festival operators, exhibition organisers or one-off experiences – live, virtual and hybrid events can be nominated.

Leading Live Event Venue Award

Nominate

Manchester has always been at the forefront of the UK’s live entertainment scene and is recognised across the world for its star-studded music & live events history.

Leading Arts & Culture Venue

Nominate

This award aims to recognise the vibrancy and vitality of the regions rich arts & culture industry.

Force for Fashion Award

Nominate

This award aims to capture, not just those who have excelled across the high street, but those who have changed the landscape of purchasing power.

Leading Technology / Digital Innovator

Nominate

Manchester, the home of the Industrial Revolution, is now a major hub for tech and digital innovation – from start-ups to scale ups and SMEs to global brands.

Individuals and/or Organisations Promoting Well-Being

Nominate

Our judges will be looking for innovation and excellence in positive culture and health and wellbeing practices, high standards, marketing, product and service levels, company culture, diversity, and social and corporate responsibilities.

Organisation Making a Difference in the Community

Nominate

This award acknowledges organisations that have significantly improved the wellbeing of others, and communities, socially, culturally & economically.

Individual Making a Difference in the Community

Nominate

This award is aimed at highlighting an individual who has made a significant positive impact within the local community, socially, culturally & economically. The individual can be within an organisation or stand alone.

The Dianne Oxberry – Special Impact Award

Nominate

In recognition of Dianne Oxberry’s longstanding career and values, This Is Manchester Awards have come together with Dianne’s family, friends, and trustees of The Dianne Oxberry Trust to create a legacy award, which will reward an individual from the region who embodies Dianne’s incredible spirit, a reflection of all that Dianne stood for, her values, and her DNA.

Manchester Supernova Award
